Windermere Real Estate has released the fourth quarter of the 2016 Gardner Report. Published by our Chief Economist Matthew Gardner, this report delivers a snapshot of Western Washington real estate trends. In Skagit County, there was a 16.8% growth in home sales. The number of available listings continues to remain well below historic averages (total # of homes for sale in 4th quarter was down by 13.7% compared to a year ago). Home prices continue to rise (in most counties) as demand exceeded supply. Average days on market in Skagit County in this quarter was 55 days.
